Here is what we will tell you on the call: whether what you want is a two-week job or a two-month one, and whether you should build it at all. Sometimes the answer is that an off-the-shelf tool does 90% of it for £40 a month and you should buy that instead. We would rather say so than take the work.
If it is worth building, you get a written fixed price before anything starts. No day rates, no scope creep conversation in week six.
Why us: we run two of our own trading companies on software we wrote. We are the first customer for everything we build, which is a strong incentive to get it right.
